Our top-notch instructors will encourage, inspire and teach you to become a licensed professional. Whether you study full-time, part-time or ¾-time, we’ll make it happen for you. Westchester Beauty School is open from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday and Thursday and 9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Saturday. We also have a rotating admission schedule with new classes beginning on the second Monday of every month.
Hairdressing / cosmetology is Westchester Beauty School's most popular course. It combines classroom lectures and demonstrations with real-world, hands-on experience in our on-site clinic that’s open to the public. You’ll learn what you need to know to pass the State Board Test to obtain your license and begin your career in this exciting field.
Upon graduation, you will have a comprehensive array of skills that will enable you to cut, style, perm, straighten, and color hair; perform basic manicuring procedures and skills; have a knowledge of various skin care theory and techniques, as well as primary understanding of business concerns, customer relations, ethics and salon management.Topics covered include:

This course is designed for the student who desires to expand his or her professional ability in esthetics. This course takes you step-by-step through the fundamentals and practical stages necessary to master the art of esthetics. The goal is to develop the esthetician skills needed to obtain your New York State license and obtain a position in the esthetics industry.
This course requires 600 hours of instruction and takes between 5 and 10 months to compete. (The actual time depends on your schedule and whether you’re enrolled on a full- or part-time basis.)
