Q: Is the Westchester School of Beauty Culture accredited?
A: Yes! We’re licensed by the New York State Education Department, accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, a member of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools, a member of New York State Beauty School Association and we’re certified by the United States Department of Education.

Q: I've been working in another field and I’m worried that I’ll be the only older student at beauty school?
A: Don’t worry. While most of our students are in their 20s and 30s, we have many students in their 40s, 50s and 60s who are beginning their second, third or in some cases fourth career. You won’t feel out of place at Westchester Beauty School.

Q: How long will it take to complete my Cosmetology training?
A: The Westchester School of Beauty Culture’s Cosmetology program requires 1040 hours of training. If you enroll full time, you could graduate in under nine months. Our part-time program can be completed in just over a year.
